My favorite subject for photography is people and their interaction with their environment. My main focus in photography is photojournalism; telling a story through pictures. I spent one year working at my city's newspaper company, The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner in Alaska. There I covered everything from sports to local news to youth activities. The fun part about the job was shooting feature photos (photos to the photographer's discretion). Probably the best part about the job was meeting a lot of cool people.

If the world wasn't all about money, I would be a photojournalist in a fraction of a heartbeat. Life is never fair. So instead I'm an EECS student with a loving passion for photography. Below are samples of the photos I did at The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner.
