Sadly to say, some of the styles in the photo shoot was inspired by the Taiwan glamour shots that a lot of people get. However I was also inspired by magazine photos of models and couples. =)

However only until recently, coming back from Japan with a soft-focus filter, was I able to experiment with the glamour type of photos. Also since this was my fourth attempt at this kind of photography, I wanted to try something different. So besides using a soft-focus filter, I also decided to shoot the portraits in Fuji Professional Color Film.

I shot these photos just before I left for Austin, Texas for my summer internship. Again the location was at Tilden park; for some reason I really like the setting of the park. There is a mixture of black and white photos and color photos. This time with the photos, I tried new angles and closer shots - a different style compared to my last couple photographs. A total of 5 rolls of color and 3 rolls of black and white were shot.

Jon and Deanna had approached me about taking their pictures. I'm always up for a photo shoot if I have time since it provides me with more experience. Besides, they'll get some decent photos to keep in the end. Below is a sample of the photographs from the shoot. Thanks Jon and Deanna!! =)
