Erik Nerison:
I've known Erik since we were three; we met at a daycare in Alaska and we've been best friends ever since. Our four years in high school was probably the best time of our friendship, although when we were young we had some good times too. Probably our best times were when we got into "heated" arguments. Remember that time we debated about ANWR in the library until we had to get kicked out??

Erik currently lives and works in Seattle, and he attends Carleton College in Minnesota. He loves computers and gatchets more than I do. He is currently taking several classes at University of Washington. Hopefully I'll be able to visit him before he leaves Seattle.

William Leven:
Will and I met as roommates in the dorms our first year at Cal. I think it was a sick housing joke to put the guy from Texas with the guy from Alaska. Also I think our names had to something with it too: his first name is William, mine is Randolph, and we lived on Hearst Ave. I'll let you figure that one out.

Will and I have been roomates for almost three years. Sadly, he has decided to move out for our final fourth year since I won't be staying for a full year this coming term. He too is an EECS major and definitely smarter than me; he'll probably graduate with honors.

This summer he has decided to work back home in Dallas, Texas at the headquarters of Texas Instrument. Hopefully I'll get the chance to hang out with him since I'll be in Austin. Correction, I've already visited him in Dallas. Thanks Will.

Jason C. Jung:
One of my best friends at Cal. I've known him over a year now, but it's felt like it's been years now. But it could be said that one college semester feels like several years. Jason and I met in the elevator to an Asian American Association Committee Banquet and I introduced myself to him: "Hi, I'm Randy, I'm from Alaska". Of course, he hasn't let me off for pulling that line.

Jason helped me through one of my hardest time during college. I thank him for it. He's also introduced me to snowboarding and other stuff. It's definitely been a fun time in college.

Currently he has a job with Diamond Technologies and has completed his college career. This guy is so glued to being online, he would die without his internet connection or without his PalmPilot Vx. Just kidding Jason.

Karl Ni:
I met him in my Math 1B discussion where we had Joe Steever as our TA and oh, 6did Joe love picking on Karl. We were randomly acquainted when we both had our first Physics 7A midterm to take right after discussion.

Karl and I have been through several of EE and CS courses. A great guy with wonderful integrity (because Karl Ni is GOD!!) and continues to surprise me on how much he knows about EECS. That's because Karl is a genius. Haha, just kidding Karl, on both counts. Smart nonetheless =)
