Randy who?

Hi. Well, this is my website. There's not much to it. It's a basic revamp of my old site. If you'd like to take a look at that site, click here.

If you would like to comment on my photographs, comment on my site, rip on my work, praise me or just want to talk to me, feel free to e-mail me at randy@eskimoboy.com.

My Family, My Home, and Me:

A very very brief history of my life. I was born in Rolla, Missouri and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska. I've survived over 17 years of -40 degree weather and enjoyed over 17 years of beautiful summers. I have a younger sister who will be a junior in high school this year. She's old enough to drive. Scary. My mom is a Supervisor/System Analyst/Programmer for the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. My father has been a Geological Engineering Professor for almost twenty years for the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

School Life:

Well, since I'm an Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) student at UC Berkeley, I don't have much of a life to begin with. I live in Berkeley, right next to Soda Hall and Etcheverry, with my roomie Will Leven (did I say he was from Texas?). For all my friends who have to walk to Soda or Etch, I'm sorry. I'm entering my third year as an EECS major. For a view of my resume, click here.

Outside of academics, I'm involved in two student run organizations. The Asian American Association (AAA) as a student member and the Engineering Joint Council (EJC) as an officer.

Besides being in school and in student run organizations, I spend most of my time with friends. Since my family is two thousand miles away, my friends have become my family in Berkeley. And from it all, I've gained some best friends and some really close friends. To all of you guys and gals, you mean a lot to me. So for fun, we just hang out, go to dinner, watch movies, go the city to eat Kataro's, shop sometimes, talk for hours, and probably the number one thing we love doing is sitting on the couch for hours trying to decide what to do or where to go!

Hobbies:

Since I don't have much of an exciting life, I keep myself busy with things I love. The first most is photography. I've been doing it for the last 5 years now and I just love it! The second thing I love the most is a tie between biking and snowboarding. Hopefully I'll get better at snowboarding. I have to thank my friends for getting me addicted to it. I love the outdoors; anything involved in camping, fishing, rafting, hiking, etc. I love it!

My other hobbies or interests include music, cars, and ultimate. I used to (maybe I'll pick it up again) play the violin. 15 years now. My taste in music spans a huge range. I love trance, musicals, pop, alternative, hip hop, and (yes!) classical. Cars, well I love cars, I like how they look, I like to keep them clean. Ultimate, I love throwing the frisbee and playing the game. Good exercise and good fun.
